It took me a long time to understand how to express what I wanted with my work.

Some 25 years of mistakes and successes combined in equal measure!

I was born in the south of Brazil and my childhood was spent in direct contact with nature. Between vegetable gardens, dams, horses, chickens, waves and mountains, I learned to see life in its cycles. My family is large and close-knit, there are lots of cousins and I'm the eldest grandchild on both maternal and paternal sides. My parents have always encouraged me to study, do sports and connect with the sacred - they consider education to be the true inheritance we can receive. My two sisters are my best friends and my daughter is the greatest teacher I've ever had. We are all strong women at home. We love and fight for everything we believe in!

I started taking dance classes at the age of two and got to know yoga at the age of fourteen, when I was initiated by the master Mataji Indra Devi, through the loving hands of Professor Cosmelli - still in my hometown of Porto Alegre.

I became a professional dancer at the age of 19 in Rio de Janeiro. I danced in different companies, including Cia Deborah Colker, travelling around Brazil and the world until I realized that I wanted to create my own work. During my dance and physical theater studies in Europe, I took my first steps by creating experimental projects. Back in Brazil, I rehearsed my first courses, trying to mix languages. A constant restlessness inhabited my heart, body and mind!

I landed in São Paulo in 2001, and with the support of a group of artists we set up Cavallaria Cênicas - a multimedia company that I ran from 2001 to 2013.

In parallel to my artistic creations in projects in which I acted as an actress, choreographer, body coach and movement director, I continued to offer courses that combined yoga with the dynamics of art. I was bringing yoga into the contemporary scene.

It was on one of these courses that I realized that people could make a living from art, whether they were professional artists or not. I also understood that yoga as a source of self-knowledge could be the basis for better acting on and off stage.

I began an intense dive in 2013. I did a bachelor's degree in theater, official yoga training and all the dives (internal and external) necessary to bring together the knowledge and experience I had acquired - I began to formulate the DOM METHOD. With the support of dear friends and competent professionals, it took seven years of development before its full version was shared with the public.

During this time, life changed, the world changed. I moved to another country, put down roots in the USA and today I live between here and there, always trying to get around to be with my students wherever they are.

In 2020 - in the midst of a pandemic - a new planetary moment began, and it was in this context that DOM School was born.

It's a joy to share the realization of this dream with you!

Kisses and Namaste,
